SAT

Scholastic Aptitude Test or more commonly SAT® subject tests are designed to assess the academic preparedness of higher secondary school students for college studies in the United States of America. The test evaluates Reading, Writing and Maths – that are taught everyday in high school.

SAT® Subject Tests are hour-long tests that provide an opportunity to showcase your attentiveness to study a specific subject. There are 20 subjects available in five subject areas: English, History, Language, Mathematics and Science.

Note that, SAT1 – the SAT general test is only required. The SAT2 – SAT subject tests have been discontinued. Also, the optional 50 minute essay has also been discontinued.

The Scholastic Assessment Test or SAT is a 1600 marks standardised test for admission to majority of colleges in the United States. The SAT Essay is optional but can be a requirement for admission in some colleges.

SAT consists of three major sections: Reading, Writing and Language, Mathematics and Essay (optional).
